The Clear Spring
The Clear Spring is a blend of both Spring and Winter (or Spring “flowing into” Winter.) High contrast and full saturation of color are what they both share. Many Clear Springs started out as blondes naturally and continue to keep their blonde hair. Other’s let it go dark and can often be mistaken for Winters.
So what’s the difference between a Clear Spring and a Clear Winter? The differences are subtle since both need clear contrasting colors to make their coloring sparkle. The biggest difference is that Clear Springs are warmer than cool (though they look quite neutral when compared to a truly warm season like a Warm Spring.) And they are naturally lighter in value as Winters-especially their hair and often their eyes and skin.
Remember to keep colors bright and clear and avoid dark, dusty, pale colors which will make you look boring and suck all of the vitality from your face.
Best Colors include: Clear Red, Hot Turquoise, Black, Lime Green, Hot Pink, Mint
Avoid: dusty blues, muddy browns, tans and beiges
