Fashion & Style

I loved putting fashion and style looks together via Polyvore. My purpose in putting these together was simply to illustrate some looks for each season.

Sometimes if can be challenging to visualize, what, for example, a Sunlit Summer may look like, especially compared to a Dusty Summer. (tip: sometimes adding a touch of warmth with your earrings and necklace can change a Dusty to a Sunlit Summer).

My polyvore looks for all of the seasons were not really meant to be a great place to actually shop for clothes, at least for most people, as most of the clothes are ridiculously expensive. However, if you can afford most of the items, count your blessings.

Plus, Polyvored closed down! I was devastated, as most of the fashion blogging world was. But they allowed me to save most of my collections. I'm posting my best looks in the gallery below. But they, along with others, can be found on their respective pages dedicated to each season. Plus they are still on Pinterest.

I hope the collections I've created to help understand your season and hopefully find some similar but more affordable items when you shop.

I have found a pretty good alternative to Polyvore and will be posting new collections on my blog and on my Pinterest page.

Aiming for a Dream...

I tried partnering with a couple of clothing companies and affiliate stores to offer clothes to my clients in very particular colors but it just wasn't quite what I was looking for. There were several reasons but the main issue was that they didn't provide colors that would work for all seasonal types.

The fashion world is a slave to trends. Whatever is the "it" color is all most designers will offer at any given time. While the Soft Winters may love the color Sangria (a past 'color of the year'), it does nothing for Springs. And most Autumns and Summers.

I've had a wild dream for years now: to launch my own clothing line! One that will contain the BEST colors for EACH and every season ALL year long.

And this dream is happening! I'm working on my own clothing line with my friend and business partner, Rachelle. Much, much more information will be coming, including a huge crowdfunding campaign to help launch it.

Left is an early concept for one of our items. We also have a beautiful cardigan and matching top. And all with offer colors that will flatter everyone, regardless of the time of year or what colors are "trending" at the time.
