Heart Face Shape

How to determine the Heart Face Shape (or "inverted triangle")

Heart Face Shaped womanHeart Shaped Face

•The chin is narrow or pointed.
•The forehead is the widest part of face and sometimes has a widow's peak
•The jawline is usually more narrow than the forehead.

GOAL: Aim to visually narrow the forehead and broaden the lower half of the face to help balance the heart face shape.

•Create volume and width along the chin line
•Look for easy soft styles with light bangs over the forehead
•Do not have a side part that is too low
•Avoid styles that look top-heavy

Also Avoid:
•Hair pulled back off the forehead
•Styles that are full at the temples
•Bangs that are too straight, which emphasizes the wide forehead.
•Too much height on top of the head

•An irregular brim  will make the face look narrower.
•Wear a hat on an angle to soften the broadness of the forehead.

•Select round or oval frames with soft curves or an upward sweep

Look for earrings that add length to the face.
